Reading music - treble clef note revision

Remember there is a special way to remember how to read the notes.

The notes on the lines - which means the notes with the lines going through the middle of the circle, can be worked out like this:

Lines on a treble clef

Whereas the notes in the spaces can be remembered like this:

Spaces on a treble clef
Manuscript

Here is a fun game for you. See if you can work out what these notes are spelling.

Print out the page and try it first with the above staves and see how you get on.

Wait a while and try it again - but this time fold over the staves so that you can't cheat!

Each word ends in a double bar line - so some words are longer than others.

Have fun!
